This is a real 13th century tower! Words cannot explain the feeling of staying in a tower. We stopped outside taking pictures before realising this was the place we were staying. Antonella met us upon arrival and was very kind and helpful, takin us to the top of the tower for a panoramic view of the area, a brief introduction to the area and suggested an itinerary for us for the next day which we followed and turned out to be exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately stayed only for 1 night but we'd very much like to return to this place one day.
Would very highly recommend it!
This is truly an enchanting home! From the moment I stepped on the grounds I felt like I was in a different world! Antonella was so gracious and kind and easy to communicate with, making the whole process smooth and amiable- she definitely made me feel completely at home and part of the family despite my short stay which I wish could have extended. Antonella was an amazing hostess and has so many stories about her town since she has lived there for thirty years!! She sat down with me and told me all of the unique places to visit in Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona and many other sweet towns in Tuscany. The room I stayed in was absolutely stunning- I think I took over thirty pictures from the bathroom window which overlooks Tuscany! I had a fabulous dinner at Aquacheta near the famous plaza where they filmed part of Twilight 2 and it was one of the best dining experience in terms of food and uniqueness! Ask Antonella to get you a reservation as it books fast and requires some notice. I loved my stay and can't wait to go back and stay longer with my new Family!! Thank you Antonella and Mossimo for everything and for making my trip through Montepulciano unforgettable!! Ciao xoxo Rebeka
Hallo, i'm Antonella, I've been living in this wonderful part of Tuscany since 1985, moving from Rome and never wanting to go back: this house is not just a big house, it's our home, a piece of history (Santa Margaret of Cortona lived here in the 13th century) and an atelier: my husband is a sculptor and his work of art is spread all around: this is a place for art lovers.
