Step into a charming, light-filled woodland cottage where Hudson Valley character meets thoughtful design. Though cozy at 600 square feet, the cottage feels surprisingly spacious thanks to its many inviting nooks, curated vintage furnishings, and abundance of natural light.

The interior blends local antiques, original Hudson Valley artwork, and mid-century modern touches to create a space that is both stylish and comfortable. Spend your mornings sipping coffee surrounded by nature, your afternoons exploring nearby hiking trails, farm stands, and charming towns, and your evenings unwinding in your own peaceful woodland escape. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend, a solo retreat, or a cozy home base for Hudson Valley adventures, this cottage offers a memorable stay in every season.

A few things to note:

• The cottage is located in a wooded setting. While we have regular pest control service and professional cleaning between guests, occasional insects are a natural part of being surrounded by nature.

• Guests are responsible for removing their garbage upon departure. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to this requirement.

• The home sits on approximately one acre and is set back from the road. During the spring, summer, and fall, foliage provides a greater sense of privacy. In winter, when the leaves have fallen, neighboring homes may be visible in the distance.

A few things to note to help you plan your stay:

This is a true woodland cottage experience, and with that comes the beauty (and occasional quirks) of nature. Despite regular pest control and professional cleaning, you may occasionally see a bug or two—especially given the home’s wooded setting.

Wildlife is part of the charm here, and deer are frequently seen wandering through the yard. They’re wonderful to watch, but please do not feed them.

The home is serviced regularly by a landscaper (typically weekly, weather permitting) to keep the outdoor spaces well maintained. During the winter months, outdoor furniture is stored to protect it from the elements.

Inside, the cottage includes a cozy, smaller-scale bathroom with a compact shower designed for one person at a time.

The home is supplied by a well, and occasionally the kitchen sink may sputter briefly when the water has been sitting unused. This is due to natural air in the line and resolves quickly with regular use. We have a filter to reduce the sulphur in the water, but it is still pulling from a ground well.

Additional notes:
• Guests are responsible for taking their trash upon departure.
• The indoor fireplace is gas.
• Firewood is not provided for the outdoor fire pit, but guests are welcome to bring their own.
