A perfect place to gather with friends & family in the heart of the Green Mountains—this house is perched high up on a hill overlooking our family's regenerative farm below. The space is filled with natural light & unforgettable views in every direction. Its scale comfortably hosts large groups for fun & relaxation with easy access to the outdoors. The basement game room holds fun for the whole family. /// Hot tub & outdoor shower coming in spring of 2022 ///

The space
This spacious 3,500 square foot home is a wonderful space to share with groups of friends and family. The central living room and its massive picture windows and fire place are the heart of the living space. The large open kitchen and dining area make it wonderful place to prepare meals and keep company.

TV & WIFI - Wifi service at the house is high speed cable internet. It has fast, reliable speed for streaming video and WFH meetings. TVs in the house have Roku for all your favorite streaming services. (There is no cable TV in the house.) There is a large TV mounted in the living room, coupled with a Bose speaker system. In addition, the downstairs master bedroom and one upstairs bedroom both have wall mounted TVs as well.

KITCHEN - The kitchen is outfitted with a 5 burner gas stove and two wall ovens. Long granite counters and ample space make preparing meals with many helpers a breeze. We love to cook, and have filled the house with all of the equipment and utensils we use in our own kitchen every day.

COFFEE & PANTRY - We provide our favorite whole bean dark roast coffee by the Vermont Coffee Company. We also have assorted teas available as well. The coffee maker is a Ninja Dual Brew system, which can brew various volumes from grounds as well as K-Cups. (We do not supply K-cups) We also have an electric kettle, coffee grinder, and French press.

For pantry items, we keep flour, sugar, olive oil, vegetable oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper on hand.

BEDROOMS - There are five bedrooms in the house. The downstairs has a large master suite with with a luxurious private bathroom. It includes a double vanity, walk in shower, private commode, and jacuzzi tub. Upstairs, the east bedroom with a king bed has a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The northeast bedroom with a king bed, shares a Jack-and-Jill style adjoining full bathroom (Shower/tub combo). The northwest bedroom has a queen four-poster bed and adjoins the other side of the Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Finally, the west bedroom has three single beds.

BASEMENT & LAUNDRY - The house has a large, unfinished basement. There is a big TV with surround sound speakers, a pool table, foosball table, air hockey table, and drum kit all available for guests to enjoy. There is also an elliptical exercise machine made by NordicTrak. (If you would like the drum kit to be made unavailable we can sequester it before your visit! Just let us know. :)

///////// We hope you have fun with these items and also treat them well. The pool table is not for young children to use unsupervised. We ask that food and drink not be put on any of these items. //////////

The washer and dryer are located in the basement as well.

GARAGE & EV CHARGER - Guests are welcome to use the attached 2 car garage. There is a level 2 EV charger available for complimentary use.

I'm inspired by watching my kids grow up on our family farm, and finding ways to make the land, and creatures who live here, stronger and more resilient. We live to be outside; in the garden, hiking, skiing, doing anything on or in the water. We're passionate about raising healthy food, and learning to live simply and self-sufficiently. We love welcoming people to the farm, and sharing this incredible corner of planet Earth!

During your stay

We are Airbnb Superhosts who have welcomed hundreds of guests over the last five years. We strive to set up the house with everything you'll need to enjoy the space and have a wonderful stay. We are delighted to make recommendations on local food, shops, and activities. If any issues arise with the property, we have staff nearby who can help problem solve.

We pride ourselves on prompt, friendly customer service. But we also are full time farmers and parents, so we are not reachable 24 hours a day.

You are welcome to walk around our farm (following safety guidelines) and visit our sheep and their guard donkey, Ben. However, guided farm tours are not included with the rental.

If you're interested in setting up a tour of our farm, we encourage you to reach out a few weeks before your stay to check on availability. We don't offer hands-on farm experiences to guests at this time. We can direct you to a few farms in the area who do offer these kind of farm and animal interactions at certain times of the year.
