I fell in love with this property while attending college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and was fortunate enough to purchase the Bed & Breakfast in January of 2017. Nestled in the shady oaks of Sterling Grove Historic District, Maison Mouton has been a historic neighborhood landmark since 1820. With the help of many local craftsmen I was able to fully restore the home during my first six months of ownership. Though I am not originally from Lafayette, Cajun culture has become second nature to me. I’d be happy to help you with suggestions for local places to visit, restaurants, dance halls, and historic sites.
