IMADOMARI, CASADUMAI was built in front of the beach, and on the south side is Nakijin Castle, which is a constituent asset of the world heritage site "Ryukyu Ruins and Related Heritage Sites of the Ryukyu Kingdom".
At the foot of Nakijin Castle on the hillside, there is Imadomari Village, which retains the old-fashioned atmosphere. Fukugi trees line up in the alleys of the village where Ryukyu houses are lined up, and you can see the villagescape that can be said to be the original scenery of Okinawa.
Churaumi Aquarium and Kouri Island are also nearby, making it a convenient area for sightseeing in the north.
