Beautiful and walkable

This area is scenic and easy to get around.
Unwind with coffee on our front porch on the peaceful Venice Canal. Minutes to the beach, Abbot Kinney, Santa Monica, within reach of Disneyland, downtown LA for live music and sports events. Our cozy cottage has it all

The space
ADORABLE Fully furnished Cottage with the cutest beachy vibe, right on a canal in Venice, 1 1/2 Blocks to the Beach and Venice Boardwalk. This is truly one of the most charming neighborhoods in LA- But- this is not a place for parties!! It's a quiet, high-end residential neighborhood. No extra guests, no loud music, no parties, no smoking anywhere on the property, even the decks. If this won't work for you, please save aggravation and book elsewhere.

You can walk or bike everywhere, (but 1-car parking is included) as well as brand new HDTV, Hi-speed WIFI internet, beach chairs, all utilities, beach towels, linens and all kitchen utensils, plus a laundry room with washer & dryer. You seriously won't want to leave.

1 Mile to Santa Monica, 40 minutes to Disneyland, 15 minutes to Malibu, 14 mins to LAX, Great location! All furnishings brand new, beautiful, clean, light and really is as cute as I say it is!!

This is an adorable home has been totally remodeled and updated with all the modern conveniences. It even has A/C even though you only need it about 3 days a year. Most of the time you simply open the many windows and the french doors to let in the ocean breezes since we are only 1.5 blocks from the beach. Outside your back door you step onto a furnished deck and below that is one of the many walkways that allow you access to the entire canal neighborhood. There's even a small playground for kids on the canals. It may sleep 6 but it doesn't feel cramped since it's got a very open floor-plan with high ceilings, lots of natural light due to the skylights and lots of windows. From almost every angle of the cottage you have a view to the water and the canal, plus you are super close to the beach. This is a very peaceful high end residential neighborhood; many of the homes are worth over 5 million, so the quality of the surroundings is about as good as it gets for a beach-side community.

There is one separate bedroom with a King sized bed that can be closed for privacy or left open to supervise kids or just take advantage of the canal views while you sit in bed. There is a large walk in closet that can accommodate everyone's things, but under each twin daybed is more clothes storage. There is one bathroom so that might be a factor for some people. Just don't spend an eternity in there- there's no view from the bathroom anyway. Take a look at all my pics to get a better idea of the layout.

Guest access
The Outdoor BBQ and eating area is shared with the other small cottage on the property. Never been a problem with sharing. You have private use of the canal side deck that is furnished with designer deck furniture from Restoration Hardware. The guests in the other cottage are allowed to access the canals by using the gate- however the deck is for you. There is free off street parking, and free laundry right on the property.

Other things to note
We have a very strict No Parties Policy and No Smoking, so if that is your vibe, please look elsewhere.
