Neighborhood highlights

We are located in a hiking and biking trail network, the Parc naturel régional du Morvan. Very close is Bibracte, a former Gallic place where Julius Caesar met with Gallic tribes. You can visit excavations and a museum. Also nearby is Beaune, a very pretty, worth seeing town. In Beaune there is the Chateau de Savigny, which with its attached technical museum is also an interesting destination. From Beaune, the Rout de grands crus, an approx. 60 km long wine route where the noble wines are grown. Of course, there are many wine cellars where you can taste and buy the wine. If you love cheese, you can visit the Gaugry cheese factory at Beaune and buy delicious cheese and other treats. Dijon is located at the other end of the Route de grands crus and is also worth a trip. The many restaurants and cafes let you enjoy the "savoir vivre", the market hall in the center is particularly recommended.
