Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Or don't take it easy! This apartment faces West with a view of the valley, the estuary and La Mision beach, so it's a great place to daydream and bird watch on your private patio facing the valley and the sea. But we've also got fun things to skate on other side of the house, so you don't have to relax TOO much.

This apartment has a mini kitchenette, with a dorm fridge, some basic utensils and everything to make coffee & tea.

The space
Our place is up the side of the mountain with incredible views of La Mision estuary and the beach. This spot is ideal for 1 or 2 people.

This apartment has lots of books and a great comfy chair next to the window, so it's perfect for readers or anyone who wants to relax. Also super comfy chairs on the private patio, as well. We finished this apartment ourselves (it was a dirt room when we moved in) with gorgeous talavera tiles and lovely colors.

Our wifi is very reliable. If you need a desk, we can bring one in for you. The apartment also has a large TV with guest-access Netflix.

This apartment is very private, but it is part of a giant stone house and we live in the upstairs portion. You are welcome to relax on the front porch if you like friendly, elderly dogs, or on your private patio.

Guest access
Our nearest neighbors are pretty far, but you can sometimes hear their roosters, donkey (just one), horses, goats, dogs and every once in a while, peacocks in the distance, just far away enough to appreciate. Our dogs sometimes bark at the occasional neighbor sheep in the afternoon, but the apartment is 100% stone, and usually very quiet. A cool breeze comes off the ocean, so when you open the windows it fills the apartment with fresh air.

The great view comes with one caveat: one mile of dirt road with some hills to climb. We have high clearance vehicles, but most regular cars will make it fine if you take it slow. Not recommended for low clearance / sports cars or street Motos.

Other things to note
We are 100% committed to inclusiveness with one exception: No bigots, please.

My work: RollerCon Roller Derby Convention
Speaks English and Spanish
I am from San Diego, CA and travel a lot with my girlfriend, business partner, skateboard homie and roller derby teammate & co-captain, Trish. We moved to La Misión in 2021 and have fallen head over heals in love with Baja living - like San Diego but a lot less people and the food! ... sigh. Trish and I spent many years traveling to skate and coach roller derby, and we're super excited to reciprocate now by offering our place in Baja for visitors, too. We speak English, but we're racking up XP in duolingo for Español and we're happy to stumble through probably bad conjugations and woefully limited vocab hablar español contigo!
