Other things to note
Year Round Beautiful Temperatures: With an average high temp of 61 degrees to 89 degrees and low temperatures of 48 degrees to 79 degrees.
Average 3.7 days of rain per month with only .1 inch of snow annually.
PARKING: The complex has limited parking. We can guarantee one free spot for you. There are 10 Extra spots available that are first-come first-serve for an additional Vehicle.These spots will cost $20 each per day. If you would like to reserve an additional spot you will need to let us know as soon as you make your booking so we can make sure there is an availability. The parking fee for the extra vehicles will be paid for upon check in at the front lobby, this is where you will receive a "Special" pass for the extra vehicles. The free Vehicle will have "Regular" passe located in the condo.
Also the County has a Seawall Parking Pass - $45 An entire year of unlimited Seawall parking. Seawall parking is monitored per vehicle by registering the vehicle license plate. Passes are not refundable or transferable. When using the PayByPhone system, you will the need location code 5004 for the Galveston Seawall.
POOL: Unfortunately Our pool's Surface was Stained due to an extended power outage after Galveston was hit by Hurricane Beryl. It is cleaned and Maintained regularly but you will still be able to see the stains on the bottom. It is slated for a resurface as soon as possible but we do not have a confirmed date yet.
The pool and hot tub are for guests use. However this is a condo and there are times when the pool and hot tub must be closed due to maintenance/ Chemical/ weather issues. The Pool is also legally required to close during any sign of lightning. While these issues are rare unfortunately they are out of our control and so If any of these issues arise during your stay we will update you immediately but you will not be reimbursed
PEST CONTROL: Because our property is part of a condominium we have mandatory quarterly pest control. This process is very quick, you do not have to leave the condo if you do not wish to and you also do not need to be present as management has a key for entry. Please understand that this may occur during your stay. We will almost always be able to give you a heads up if this will be taking place during your reservation, however there may be times that we are unaware. They will always knock first before entering.
*Due to this being a condominium there is always the potential for random and planned renovations, maintenance and or construction that are out of our control. Please ask us if you have any concerns or questions. Thank you.
*Please be aware that Galveston Island can be prone to occasional power interruptions. If you experience a loss of power you can check the Outage Map at centerpointenergy for more information of the extent and projected time for restoration.
From Guest Kimberly: I have stayed in quite a few places along the Seawall, using both Air bnb and Vrbo. This by far has been the BEST experience in the location, the condo itself, and the communication with John & Sandra. I can’t express how fabulous they made this experience for my family. The unit is gorgeous! Clean, well stocked and maintained perfectly! They had such lovely touches in the home, which makes it feel like you’re at home while being on vacation! It is a first floor unit (and no noises despite that) with a great view of the ocean, and the pool/hot tub are directly off the back porch (balcony area). Any time I had a question, John/Sandra responded quickly. Top notch communicators and super friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was quite spacious. I WILL be coming back again. hopefully, there will be availability in this particular unit, and with these particular people. Stayed over a week
This is our second time staying here. I purposely booked my vacation based on their availability. They go the extra mile to meet all your needs and answer all your questions. Best place I have stayed on the seawall and best owners to deal with. Every afternoon, I’d run across the street and run 4 miles along the ocean (rain or shine). I can’t express how much I enjoy this place. The decor is wonderful, beds comfortable, bathrooms clean, kitchen well stocked and overlooks to the ocean! Pool and hot tub are right outside your door. This place feels like home when you’re there. We will return again and are already sad we had to leave. Thank you for having us John and Sandra! Until next time!
