Guests love this home’s scenic location.
The PERFECT Country Retreat for anyone who wants to get away from it all. (We have fireflies) House Mountain Retreat is in the country yet close to Knoxville & the Smokey Mountains. Enjoy your unobstructed view of House Mountain while you watch horses, cows, goats & a donkey graze in the pasture. Your space has a screened in deck to admire the views with your morning coffee. Sunsets are great too. *We can host guests with horses. Message us for availability.

The space
You will love the beautifully designed space that includes a comfortable bed, two TVs, WiFi, Kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker. We provide towels, hair dryer, shampoo, and coffee. The vibe is Ranch and is perfect for a couples get away, staycation or self care trip. We have extra blankets and dishes for your use.
The space is for adults with no children or pets

Guest access
We have plenty of parking around the ranch. You can park up front by the main house and apartment or down by the barn when you visit our horses. When you drive in look for the posts with the Wagon Wheel on the left side of the road and turn there through the gate. The Main house is on the left and the apartment is attached. You can park anywhere up front.

If you are interested in taking a tour of our Ranch or would like to take a riding lesson, please send us a message prior to your stay so we can arrange a time. We can offer Concierge services, room decoration, gift baskets, or champagne set up. Let us help you make your stay at the House Mountain Retreat extra special.

Neighborhood highlights

Our House Mountain Retreat is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in East Tennessee. We are located in Corryton, Tennessee which is close to Downtown Knoxville and also close to the Smokey Mountains. Our property is close to many stores and restaurants, but is located in the country and has a direct view of House Mountain State Park. Our ranch is on 50 acres and hosts World Champion Appaloosa Horses and Quarrer Horses, Longhorn & Corriente Cattle, Friendly Goats, a Donkey, Chicken and Ducks. In the Spring and Summer we are located in one of the very best places to see Fireflies. If you are interested in a great Hike, House Mountain State Park is very close and offers an easy to moderate hike. You can look down from House Mountain and see all the quaint Tennessee Farms... Including ours.
