Villa Fjellheim is located in Jostedal, in the heart of Breheimen. Our guests boast a fantastic location in a very homey and beautiful villa. With views and walking distance to Nigardsbreen, it is an ideal starting point for nature experiences. Jostedal offers glaciers, mountains and adventures all year round.

Here you can go glacier hiking, explore the mountains, raft, paddle on the glacier lake, or make an excursion to Urnes Stavkirke, Feigumfossen, visit Solvorn, swim in the river in the mountains, or just enjoy the silence.

The space
Welcome to Villa Fjellheim, a newly renovated villa from the 50s with unique charm and plenty of space! Perfect for families, hiking groups and companies looking for a unique retreat in spectacular nature.

Our guests love to gather after a day in the mountains, either on skis or on foot, and enjoy the sun on the inviting staircase. Nothing beats the view of the glacier from the window, and in the living room you will find beautiful pictures that show the history of the glacier.

The villa offers modern comfort and space for up to 18 guests, all year round. The former guest house has 8 cozy guest rooms, 4 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and dining area for 20 people. There are also 2 living rooms, a winter garden and a large laundry room with a tumble dryer and boot dryer.

The villa has a private garden with comfortable garden furniture, gas grill, amphitheater terrace with panoramic views of Nigardsbreen and a fire pit - an ideal place for relaxation.

Our closest neighbor is the Breheim Center which is open from May to October. Here you will find a café serving pizza, cakes, sandwiches and the famous Norwegian waffles all day, and of course coffee, soda, ice cream and alcoholic beverages. The center also has a souvenir shop where you can buy gifts or leisure clothes that you may need during your stay. In the exhibition you can also enjoy a spectacular film about the glacier and the glacier cave.

At Gjerdet (2 minutes by car) you will find a grocery store with a good selection of food that you can cook yourself, fresh baked goods and fruits and vegetables every day.

You can book rafting in the river, paddling on the glacier lake, glacier hiking, guided tour to the glacier or explore the mountains yourself. The most famous mountain peaks in Jostedalen are Vangsen, Myrhørna and Spørteggbu. You can also experience Bergsetbreen, Tuftebreen and Nigardsbreen or see the glaciers from a distance from the mountain peaks.

30 minutes away, in Gaupne, you will find Lustrabadet, a fantastic swimming facility with sauna, hot tub, diving tower, children's pool and water slides. In Gaupne you will also find great shops, cafes and groceries.

We recommend a day trip to Solvorn, Urnes Stavkirke and Feigesagi, all located along the Lustrafjorden, one of Norway's most beautiful fjords. More information about activities can be found on Visit Sognefjord's website.
