About mawari
Built in the late Edo period (1850), the rural Kabuki stage was relocated and preserved in 1982
It was inherited from a local old man and turned into a private rental space.

We have renovated it to be able to accommodate guests, while keeping the rural Kabuki stage as intact as possible.
We hope you enjoy the hot springs, delicious food, and pleasant mountains in the town around Lake Suwa, which you can see from the window.

The space
The first floor has a spacious living room, kitchen, washroom, toilet, and shower.
There is a bedroom and library on the 2nd floor, which has a large atrium.

From the large windows of the spacious living room, you can see Lake Suwa and Yatsugatake,

The furniture, lighting, and accessories are antiques cherished by the owner of this building and works by wonderful artists.
In cold weather, you can light the wood stove and watch the fire.


About the kitchen
There is a kitchen with three commercial stoves and a gas oven, so you can enjoy authentic cooking and bake bread and sweets.
Seasonings include original brands from the local supermarket and miso from a local miso store.
You can also shop at the supermarket before check-in, cook for yourself, and relax at the accommodation.
