The Mountain Cottage is a cozy, thoughtfully-designed home in the heart of the Great Northern Catskills, perched on a scenic hill surrounded by an acre of tall, whimsical trees. Only 2.5 hours from NYC, 20 minutes to Windham Mountain, and 25 minutes to Hunter Mountain. It is centrally located to renowned hiking trails, mountain biking, skiing, the Kaaterskill Falls, antique shopping, local apple picking, and excellent coffee, breweries, and vineyards to be enjoyed throughout the four seasons!

The space
The Mountain Cottage is a newly renovated 3-bed, 1-bath cottage located in Purling, NY., 2.5 hours from NYC and 20-25 minutes from Windham and Hunter Mountain. Decorated with a little bit of farmhouse meets mid-century to create a space that highlights our home’s natural wood features and antique Hudson Valley treasures.

The Mountain Cottage is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, coffee/tea bar, quality linens and towels, high-speed fiber internet and a Netflix enabled tv, a dedicated workspace in each bedroom, plenty of board games and books, Weber grill for summer days, and a fire pit for starry nights and s’mores.
