Overlooking breathtaking sea views, rolling hills and the beautiful harbour town of Eyemouth, Barefoot Beach Bungalow is a dream holiday escape. Whether it’s coastal cliff walking, beach days, diving or exploring the pubs and restaurants, our bungalow is the perfect beachy retreat.

The space
Recently renovated with a coastal and contemporary influence, Barefoot Beach Bungalow can be enjoyed both in the summer and as a cosy winter break.

The bungalow benefits from a bright and airy aspect on its cliff top location. You’ll be greeted by its huge spiky palm trees as you approach one of two driveways with plenty of room for two cars.

There is a paved back garden with BBQ and a stunning pergola area for alfresco dining, by day or by night.

Perfect for couples or a small family - there are two large bedrooms - one king and one twin. We welcome two (well behaved) dogs at Barefoot for £30 per trip. Our boot (and paws room) is well equipped with storage and handy hooks for accommodating sandy shoes, muddy boots, doggy towels and leads.

Both the lounge and kitchen/diner are bright and spacious and are framed by huge windows, some of which face out to the gorgeous beach and harbour town of Eyemouth. The cosy fireplace also makes the perfect addition to end a day of winter walking.

The beautiful newly refurbished bathroom includes a shower, luxurious bath, basin with vanity unit and heated towel rail. Please note that our shower and bath is combined. The roll-top bath is luxurious but deep so it may be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

Just a stone’s throw away from the bungalow and you’ll discover the stunning Berwickshire Coastal Path where the cliff top views absolutely must be seen to be believed. A few minutes stroll down the hill and you’ll hit Eyemouth’s sandy coves, rockpools and its many independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs along the harbour. A well-stocked Co-op is also just 5 minutes away from the bungalow.

And there’s more!
The incredibly scenic Coldingham Bay and Fishing Village of St Abbs (known as New Asgard to Marvel Avengers fans) are less than a 10 minute drive away. Or go by foot and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the coastal path and take in those magical views along the way.

The A1 trunk road is within 2 miles of the town giving quick and easy access to Edinburgh and Newcastle, while the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed lies some nine miles to the south providing a wide range of supermarkets, larger shops, sporting and entertainment facilities.
