Brand new listing tucked in a Mountain Laurel and Rhododendron forest, our unique property is the perfect getaway!

You will have privacy in your own forest bathhouse, complete with a heated Japanese cedar soaking tub, and access to an apartment suite (shared with guests of our other cottage) for your bathroom and kitchen.

With Asheville only 15 minutes away, there's no shortage of restaurants, breweries, galleries, hiking, and more, but don’t overlook Fairview’s open-field breweries.

The space
***Please note that all kitchen, bathroom, and laundry spaces are located 100ft away within a separate apartment suite and shared with 1-2 guests from our other forest cottage (Airbnb.com/h/ashevilleforestcottage). We clean and sanitize the suite daily.***

The forest bathhouse features a secluded and cozy sleeping area with a king-sized Mint mattress and Brooklinen luxe sheets, mini-split heating and air-conditioning, an in-suite Nespresso coffee machine, and a comfortable lounge.

We’re constantly on the lookout for locally foraged natural treasures to decorate the home and hope that you’ll enjoy the beauty we’ve uncovered in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Directly outside, you'll find your own private cedar hot tub. These tubs offer an experience far beyond your typical plastic molded tub. They’re built deep in the Ofuru-style, set with wooden benches and quite jets. There is simply no better way to melt away than stargazing in one of these tubs.

Our home is located down a country road only 15 minutes away from Asheville’s famed galleries, restaurants, and breweries. It’s a lovely commute with frequent views of the mountains and easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also have two unique open-field breweries (Turgua and Whistlehop) located only 5 and 10 minutes away. They offer a true local scene complete with diverse sets of micro-brews, beach river access for kids (and adults) to play, free mini golf, live music, food trucks, and more. For the outdoors, there are numerous hiking trails, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and more only a short drive away.

We take great care to curate every inch of our homes and look forward to sharing them with you! We’ll be available to help with any of your needs and would be happy to advise you on your visit to Asheville. It’s our pleasure to host and provide a serene getaway for all of our guests.

We're lifestyle experimentalists obsessed with the many depths of a life well-lived. For many years we hosted our Tiny Home in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California! Sadly, it was lost during wildfires and we now maintain it only as a legacy listing.

Over the past two years, we’ve been rebuilding in our home state of North Carolina, outside of Asheville. Finally, we’re ready to share these homes with you!
