The guest house sky is located in the Kokusu district of Yoshino-machi.This area has a long history, appearing in the "Kojiki" and "Nihon Shoki", and is also known as the production area for handmade Japanese paper and disposable chopsticks made from Yoshino cedar and Yoshino cypress.
The "Jomemihara Shrine", which can be walked from the guest house, is a shrine quietly nestled in the rocky mountains at the beautiful Yoshino River's blue "Emperor Fuchu", and is recommended for a walking trail the morning after your stay.
Located in the middle of the Kii Peninsula, this place is also close to the neighboring Higashiyoshino Village, Kawakami Village, and Kamikitayama Village, and Otaikawa is an hour and 15 minutes by car.
Of course, I recommend the pleasant river play in the summer, but it is also exceptional to aim for waterfalls, such as dragon waterfalls and Fudo Shichijo Falls! It is also about a 30-minute drive to Mt. Takami, which is known for the frost of winter.

The nearby restaurant is only open on weekends. It is about a 20-minute drive to a convenience store. There is a full kitchen, so please enjoy cooking.

There is a glass partition between the room and the hallway, and there is no key. Please note that light and sound will enter the hallway.

The space
All rooms in the building have 4 Japanese-style rooms.During the Mikazuki period, two adjoining 6 tatami mat-sized rooms on the 2nd floor can be used by 1 to 4 people.
There are also 6 tatami mat and 8 tatami mat private rooms on the second floor.

The toilet and bathroom are located on the first floor only (shared), so I recommend the room on the first floor for those with mobility issues. There are many steps in the building, and it is not barrier-free.Please understand.

Guest access
Parking is available for up to 4 cars in the uncovered space next to the building. Please let me know in advance if you have a large number of cars.

During your stay
If you have any requests, such as information on Yoshino alcohol, restaurants, or people you want to meet in Yoshino, we will always be happy to help! Please let me know.

Other things to note
There are almost no shops where you can buy groceries, etc., or restaurants nearby, including convenience stores. Please come after stocking up.
