The place has everything you need, great airflow and comfortable spaces. You’ll like hanging out in the well shaded yard to read a book under a tree, have some breakfast, or lounge in the sitting pool with a cold drink. The evening lights up so you can continue to relax after a hot day seeing the sights!

The space
The hosts' house is fully renovated with its original facade and a clean and spacious interior feeling, despite its string bean shape! The living room is a pleasure to sit in with a couple of Acapulco chairs and sofa bed. Its high ceilings and good ventilation make it comfortable to watch a show, listen to music, or keep an eye on the street. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a desk for those that love to work, natural lighting, an ample closet, air conditioning, and fan for your comfort. There is a hammock near the garden door in case you need a nap. The kitchen and dining area have everything you should need, and the bathroom is ample with shampoo and body wash on the wall. The garden has a sitting pool, a lounger, and a couple of Acapulco chairs, including laundry and a place to hang some close to dry—old school style.

You will feel safe and comfortable, not just because Mérida has been ranked the safest city in Latin America and second Safest city in North America, but because we also have cameras on the back wall and front façade. No cameras on the pool or indoors for your comfort, so skinny dipping is okay if that’s your gig.

Deyanira and Brian Mendoza Dominguez are from Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. They are partners at The MDMOTO Group and help other companies do better. They like interacting with interesting people, exploring, being productive, working with the community, and adventure motorcycle riding. Brian and Deyanira have traveled extensively; their last journey lasted for 26 months, riding motorcycles through the Americas from Alaska to Argentina and back, over 73,000kms!

This married couple owns a home in Merida (Yucatan) and a penthouse suite in Mavila (Cabo San Lucas) and they like to share their place with other travelers, especially ADVRiders. Brian and Deyanira are neat and organized and when traveling they believe in leaving a place better than they found it. They also prefer the road less travelled, which led them to their current destination and others.
