The space

Enter the custom tiled mudroom where you can kick off your shoes & drop your bags before stepping into the generous dining area with unobstructed views & direct access to the deck overlooking Seneca Lake.

An open layout leads you to a welcoming living room with a functioning fire place & an attached full kitchen. The cottage offers 1 full bath & sleeps up to 6 guests. With 3 bedrooms total there are 2 queen beds, a bunk room with 2 twins & an extra-deep comfy sofa in the living room for 1. Please note that the cottage is supplied by well water.

***While the snow melts the drive is muddy & we highly recommend a vehicle with AWD or 4WD*** A private dirt drive takes you off the main road to our piece of the lake just over the Finger Lakes Railway tracks (the train runs occasionally but is usually short & quick). Before you reach the tracks you will park on the right by the garage, there is space for 2 vehicles. Grab your bags & head down to cottage (look both ways before crossing the tracks!). The entrance is on the left side of the house (black door).

Other things to note
I think we have mentioned it, but it's worth repeating, the cottage overlooks the lake. There are sturdy stairs that lead you down to the shore or to take a stroll down the dock. Being on the west side of the lake you get to see some pretty amazing sunrises but don't miss the beautiful colors at sunset as well!

We are located minutes from some of our favorite wineries in the region as well as Watkins Glen State Park which is only half an hour away.
