The space
**This is part of a 2-cabin property in a residential neighborhood. The other cabin is a small a-frame on the edge of the property that sleeps 2 people. Each home is completely private, has its own parking area and only your group has access to the hot tub listed in the description, which has a privacy wall as well! You will have your own grill, picnic table and fire pit during the warmer weather. Access to the river (aka "the landing") down the hill and where the other picnic table is, is a common area for both cabins. The cabins are about 50 yards apart.***
Master bedroom w/ queen bed (only "real" bedroom). Open loft w/ two queen beds. Downstairs has bunk beds (twin over full) plus electric fireplace, games/xbox, couch & ping pong table. Wifi, wood burning stove, screened in porch, jetted tub & shower and outdoor hot tub. Picnic table, cornhole & propane grill.
*We don’t recommend the cabin for toddlers/young kids unfortunately or anyone with mobility issues. The stairs to the loft and to the basement are fairly steep. The ridge to get down to the river is also very steep. Kids and older adults should use caution!! The shower requires you to step in to a large tub. To get to the river requires some physical agility and a steep slope!!!!!*
There are no closets in the cabin. Please note some items/decor/bedding get updated seasonally and could look slightly different than listing pictures.
**We have a shower/tub combo. You have to take a large step to get into the tub so please keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues.
Parking for THREE cars max.
Guest access
Swim right on your own backyard. Bring your water shoes, floats/tubes & rope and tie up and float on the river. Bring your fishing rod they stock the river with trout.
Other things to note
WiFi is available but can be spotty as you are deep in the woods. If a bunch of people are connected it will be super slow. AT&T is fine without WiFi but Verizon has little to no service at the cabin. If you’re a tablet/streaming/device heavy family, I would not suggest the cabin for you.
Hot tub can take a long time to warm up during sub below temps, we’ll do our best to make sure it’s ready for your stay but a slight chance it won’t be at full heat the first day of your stay as we have to drain and refill it often to make sure there is clean water.
There is no dishwasher.
***Cabin is older and can be squeaky and very open so sound travels easy! If you’re a light sleeper I suggest ear plugs or a sound machine.
One dog per visit (no other animals allowed) and dogs are not allowed on furniture - we will leave a dog bed, water dish and some treats for you!
No parties or guest outside of the guests on your reservation allows at the house - quiet hours (no loud music or excessive noise) at 10pm - we want to be respectful of our peaceful neighborhood and our neighbors.
Please be respectful of neighbors and stay off their property. Our property line ends at the picnic table by the river, please do not venture into the woods even though it is tempting ;)
Parking for three cars MAX.

Neighborhood highlights
This is a residential area and although we have a large private lot we do have neighbors nearby that we want to be respectful of. Quiet hours outside starts at 10pm and we ask you move inside at that time. Please do not wander through the woods (as tempting as it seems) our property line ends at the picnic table down by the river.
