A true gem in the heart of New Harbor. You’ll be within walking distance to the best of what Block Island has to offer…fishing, beaches, restaurants, popular marinas and Payne’s Killer Donuts. During the quiet winter, get cozy with your in-door fire place. The home is surrounded by conservation land which allows for a peaceful evening watching the sunset. There is an in-law apartment and a main house included with this lising. Both can be rented separately.

The space
The main house has a first floor half bath, living room, dining room and large eat-in kitchen. Three bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. The King bedroom has a private bath. The 2nd bedroom features a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has two double beds. A 2nd full-bathroom is in the hall. The laundry room is in the basement. There is a large deck, yard, and beautiful harbor view. The attached, in-law apartment has a queen bedroom and a “bonus” room with twin beds which can be converted to a king bed. There is a spacious kitchenette, living room and a full bathroom. The apartment has a private entrance, slider to the back deck and a door that attaches to the main house through the “bonus” room. All bedrooms have AC from mid June- mid September. There is a portable fan in each room of the house.

Free parking is available on site. There is a sidewalk which provides safe walking to all restaurants, parks and marinas in New Harbor. All are within a 5-10 minute walk. Town beach is approximately 1 mile away. Old Harbor is approximately 1.5 miles away.

Neighborhood highlights

New Harbor is considered the “more peaceful” section of Block Island. It’s attractive to locals and tourists alike. There are several restaurants and popular bars to keep you entertained while avoiding the crowds in the center of town. During peak season, the popular farmer’s market is located once a week right across the street. While Block Island offers the best beaches in the northeast, Champlain’s resort pool is a 5-minute walk. The house is also next to the Island’s only park with a playground, tennis courts, basketball court and skate park. A sidewalk provides safe walking from the house into New Harbor and Old Harbor.
