The space

The residence is a former “sirma” – a small cave-like dwelling dug into soft rock that was originally used to protect fishing boats from winter winds, transformed into a luxury holiday residence.

The cave house is built in 2 levels and access may be a bit difficult for elderly, and physically disabled persons.

Guest access
You can access Kimolos Cave Residence by bus or taxi from the port of Psathi. It has easy access about 3 km from the port of Psathi or 2 km from Chora of Kimolos.

If you visit the island by car or motorbike you can park it near the house. A free public Parking area is available nearby.

If you visit the island by vessel, you can moor it near the cave house. Small vessels can be moored at the dock outside the house.

At a distance of 2 minutes (on foot), there is a bus stop to the village and the other beaches of the island.

We would recommend renting a vehicle (car, scooter) which you can use to explore the island.

Access to Kimolos

From Piraeus: Kimolos, is connected with Piraeus by boat.

From Milos by airplane: Kimolos is supported by the airport of Milos.

From Milos: Otherwise, someone can arrive at Adamantas, Milos, take the bus (or by car) to Apollonia (Pollonia), and then pass to Kimolos with the ferry.

From other islands: The island is connected by ship with other nearby islands, as well.
