You've never "glamped" like this before! The Band Wagon is a real covered wagon located on the beautiful Ocoee River and situated inside the private gates of Ocoee Riverside Farm. Whether you are looking for a waterside retreat or a fun filled vacation, The Band Wagon is sure to fit the bill with NO ADDED HOST FEES! Want to add more to your vacation? The space
While The Band Wagon is reminiscent of a much more primitive time in American history you will not have to go without modern day luxuries. Your wagon is equipped with central heat and air, a king size bed, a set of bunks, a wagon wheel table and chairs, a two door mini fridge/freezer, a convection microwave, a Keurig Duo and luxury linens. Outside we have also outfitted your campsite with a stone-ring fire pit surrounded by 4 wagon wheel chairs, a picnic table, a charcoal grill and a complete set of cast iron cookware. We also provide a starter supply of disposable plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery. Just steps away you will enjoy the privacy of your own full bath inside the Ocoee River Bath House which also offers central heat and air. Your private bathroom will come with its own keyed entrance so no need to carry toiletries back and forth from the wagon. Speaking of toiletries; you will find travel sized shampoo, conditioner and body soap provided in your bathroom. The private bath itself features a vintage replica high tank toilet, vanity with copper pot basin, a heat lamp, luxury towels, and a stand up shower with blue tooth speaker to enjoy all your favorite tunes while you wash your worries away. Hand soap, toilet paper and tissues are also provided. Behind the bathhouse you will also enjoy a shared two level deck with additional riverfront seating and a gas grill with side burner.

Ocoee Riverside Farm is a 30 acre riverfront farm located in the small town of Benton, Tennessee. As our guest you will come to realize that we really do offer a 'Stay Here, Play Here' environment! Our boat ramp, located at the end of the main driveway, offers easy access to the river should you decide to take a cool dip or splash around with the kids. Additionally, we also offer our guests a number of extra activities that we refer to as “Encounters". Some of our Encounters include our Farm Tour & Animal Encounter, Sloth Encounters, Baby Kangaroo Bottle Feeding, Horseback Riding, Pony Rides, as well as Camel Rides. Yes, you read that right. Camels are among some of the animals that call Ocoee Riverside Farm home. Please visit our website for additional information on booking these activities. Just search Ocoee Riverside Farm! We STRONGLY encourage you to book actives early as spaces are limited and fill up quickly!

Did you know that we can host your event or large family gathering? Here on the farm we offer a total of 8 different Airbnb accomodations that sleep a total of 37 guests. The nightly rate is reduced by 10% on all accommodations when simultaneously renting at least 3 of the climate controlled accommodations for a period of at least 3 consecutive nights, and reduced by 15% when renting out ALL lodging spaces for the same period.

Neighborhood highlights

You will find our farm to be uniquely located between the best of two worlds and it's as easy as a right turn or left turn at the stop sign at the end of our street! Traveling 15 minutes to the east (right at the stop sign) will take you to Cleveland, TN where you will find all of your favorite restaurants as well as shopping and entertainment options. Traveling 15 minutes to the west (left at the stop sign) will take you into the heart of the Cherokee National Forest. We like to tell our guests that from our farm you are 15 minutes from everything and nothing at the same time! Of course what "nothing" really means is "nothing ordinary". Popular area activities in and around the National Forest include mountain drives, wine tasting, hiking, biking, white water rafting on the Ocoee as well as tubing, kayaking, and fishing both the Ocoee and Hiawassee Rivers. There are over 10 white water rafting companies within a 5 mile radius of our location and you're more than welcome to schedule a tubing or kayaking adventure directly through us where you will be shuttled to the put-in at Sugar Loaf Mountain State Park and float or paddle your way back to the boat dock right here at Ocoee Riverside Farm. Additionally, we are an easy drive to other noteworthy attractions including the Tennessee Aquarium, Ruby Falls, and Rock City. We really do have it all!

Born in California, raised in Florida and South Carolina, spent most of my adulthood in Virginia but Tennessee has my heart! I’ve been married to the same wonderful man for over 29 years and have 10 children through both birth and adoption. Although some of my children did graduate through the public school system I spent 14 years as a homeschool mom and loved it! Now I get to play with 8 grandkids and over 150 animals that call our farm home.
