The Wee Nook is a cottage tucked away in a peaceful, lovely location near a national park. Use it as a base for hiking nearby trails, or floating The Buffalo River (just 3 miles from Carver's Landing!) There are Highland cows that live in the pasture surrounding the home, that you're welcome to interact with. There's also plenty of wildlife on the property, with a wet-weather creek that flows from approximately December to April. Come relax in the gorgeous Ozarks!
The space
The Wee Nook is a tiny piece of heaven! You'll be located 3 miles from Carver's Landing, close to many hiking trails. It's a peaceful, cozy home, nestled in a quiet valley. I'll send you a map pin the day before your arrival, which will lead you directly to the home.
Guest access
You have the home yourself. While there is another home on the property, you're a good distance away (approx 500 yards). The homes are on 20 acres, but we ask that you don't go into the fenced cow pen for any reason--they're sweet, but they are still big animals with hooves, teeth, and horns!
Other things to note
Please note that the home is down a mile-long gravel driveway, with a steep hill. I've had no trouble in my 2wd SUV, but I don't recommend motorcycles!!
