The space
Welcome to our condo! Get out on the water, hiking trails or cozy up by the fireplace and watch movies while watching the snow fall at the "Escape to Grand Lake". The perfect, cozy mountain getaway. Located in Shadow Park West and sits on a hill overlooking Grand Lake with INCREDIBLE views of the lake and mountains.
Hiking trails out your front door. Take the trail all the way for lunch at Sloopys grill located at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Not only are the views incredible, when you walk in you feel right at home. A wood burning fireplace and cozy beds await.
1 guest parking spot and limited first come first serve visitor parking available. Snowmobile from the parking lot or take a 5 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park.
*Must use stairs to access the unit*. One flight down from the parking lot and one flight up to the unit. There are no stairs within the unit.

Local Summer Activities: Boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, and amazing opportunities in Rocky Mountain National Park and Arapahoe National Forest. Championship golf courses, horseback riding and hayrides. World Class Theater located right in Town of Grand lake, boutique shopping, good restaurants, and fun on the boardwalk.
Local Winter Activities: downhill skiing and snowboarding at Ski Granby Ranch (~20 miles away) and at Winter Park Ski Area (45 minutes away), cross country skiing (3 areas nearby including the Grand Lake Nordic center just 5 minutes from the condo!). Grand Lake is snowmobiling capital of Colorado enjoy more than 130 miles of groomed trails, ice fishing, ice skating, Winter Carnivals, sleigh rides, dog sledding, and snowshoeing.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
Max Occupancy: This unit has a strict occupancy limit of 6 people total — 4 adults and 2 children max. The home cannot accommodate 6 adults. This is an HOA requirement and must be followed.
Pets: We allow 1 dog max. No other animals are permitted.
Smoking: No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed inside or around the unit.
The designated smoking area is the paved driveway/lot, and use is subject to any local fire restrictions.
Community Guidelines: This condo is part of a quiet, mostly residential complex. Most units are owned by full-time or part-time residents. Please treat the home and grounds with the same care and respect you would in your own neighborhood.
SEASONAL NOTES
Grand Lake is a National Park town with incredible year-round recreation — but it’s important to understand the seasonality:
Winter Driving: 4WD/AWD is required during winter months. The road to the unit is steep. While it is plowed and maintained, weather conditions can change rapidly and it may still be challenging. We cannot accommodate weather-related refunds, please plan accordingly.
Mud/Shoulder Season: September–November and March–May activities may be limited, and some restaurants may be closed. Trail Ridge Road to Estes Park is often closed during this time.
Peak Seasons:
May to September = Peak season
June to August = Peak-Peak season
Major Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Spring Break (March)
