Winter – Cozy getaways, family events, winter sightseeing, ice fishing, ice skating, snowmobiling, hiking, snowball fights, and fort-building.
Spring – Great Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, and Hiking at the State Park. Birding in the Spring is Quite Popular. Fishing Opening weekend is in May and the first four to six weeks of fishing are some of the best (maybe a tie with the fall).
Summer- Swimming, Campfires, Events, Concerts, Yard Games, Watersports, Fishing, and Hiking at the State Park to see the amazing color & blooms of life.
Fall – Fishing is Amazing, Wildlife is Active, Hiking Weather is Perfect. Sightsee the falling leaves throughout the property or at the State Park and watch for all of the beautiful birds!
Shetek State Park has a large trail system with many historical markers. Beautiful natural settings.

Rules / Policies:
Two-Finger Rule: If it doesn't open with two fingers, it doesn't open.
No Illegal Substances: No illegal substances are allowed on the property.
Don't Move Furniture: Please do not rearrange any of the furniture.
No Smoking Allowed: No smoking is allowed on the property.
Clean Up After Yourself: Please clean and put items away after use.
No Unregistered Guests: Only registered guests are allowed to occupy the property overnight.
Day (Event) Guests: You can have up to 5 additional guests visit during the day. For more than 5 guests, a $10 day guest fee applies per guest.
Pet Policy: Pets must be on the booking (pet fee/pet/night), kenneled if in the house (2 kennels provided), and can be unkenneled in the garage, or fenced area when attended. Pets must be on a leash during walks, and all waste must be picked up (waste station by the park).
