Welcome to the Whitetail Lodge or Cabin #8 at Sunset Pines Resort! This is one of the cabins that was constructed at the resort in the late 1980s. This cabin has a log exterior and features spacious rooms amidst a large masonry fireplace ideal for family gatherings. This cabin also has a modern kitchen and bath along with being winterized for year around availability.

The space
Our resort is nestled on several level acres in a park like setting on the southeast corner of South Manistique Lake and offers unparalleled western sunset views over the lake. The resort is situated adjacent to a public boat launch which provides convenience for those guests launching their own personal water craft.

South Manistique Lake is a premier fishing and all recreational sports lake that spans over 4000 acres of crystal clear water.

Private fire pit

Guest access
During the late spring, summer, and early fall, on-site coin laundry is available to all resort guests. Not open November-April.

All guests have access to the Entertainment Room which has a coin-operated pool table, TV, and card games.

On-site Fish House is where guests are to clean all their fish.

Community fire pit

Bathroom towels are provided. Guests are responsible to bring beach towels.
