The Apt. was comfy and homey as I expected. I enjoyed my stay here, it was nice and quiet. I unfortunately didn't get to meet Deirdre because of my odd schedule while I was in Eugene, but I did get to meet Howard and he was very helpful and nice when I checked in. I definitely made my stay.
Deirdre was a lovely hostess. She was warm and welcoming and made sure that all of my needs were tended to. The space was perfect, clean, well laid out and accommodated, light and airy and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, too. A quiet, cozy place to settle in after a long day in Eugene. What more could one ask for?! Thanks, Deirdre.
Deirdre gave us a warm welcome. Her loft is spacious and comfortable. Deirdre thought of all the details to make her guests comfortable. She even brought us a lovely tray with freshly baked scones, cheese and fruit in the morning. What a wonderful way to start our day.
deirdre was very welcoming but once we had settled in totally respected our privacy. the space was exactly as described, with lots of considerate touches that hadn't been mentioned. we loved how quiet the neighborhood was and the fact that we could walk to a number of cafes and other venues (we live in berlin and are accustomed to things being within walking distance). there was a reading lamp on each side of the bed and two comfortable reading chairs, things that a lot of places neglect. would definitely book with deirdre again!
I was unfortunately unable to make it to the listing due to unfortunate circumstances. Deirdre was very responsive leading up to the reservation, and understanding of the situation. I am sure the stay would have been great!
My mother and I had a nice stay at Dierdre's loft apartment. Her home is located on a quiet side street that is a short driving distance from campus and downtown (or a quick bike ride, although not really walkable). The apartment has a private separate entrance with lots of cute unique touches. Dierdre helped us find a place to eat and was generally very suggestive and available. Thanks!
Deirdre and Harold are lovely people. They were very kind; they fed me several times, listened to my traveling stories, and made sure I had absolutely everything I needed. As for the apartment itself, it was beautiful, full of light, and well furnished. Fast internet, a comfortable bed, a nice shower... I felt very lucky. I even got to help in the garden, which was really fun.
I like living in Oregon. Raised our family here. Love the outdoors. Have an organic garden and a home based business. We do lots of cooking and take a casual approach to living and traveling. Like independence when traveling and would enjoy like minded travelers. Am willing to accomodate to visitors but not fuss over.
