Our cabin has 2 master en suites, an additional bedroom + loft, a great room designed for entertaining, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, a hot tub, fire pit, and partial river views.

Located in the Ponderosa - 5 min from the charming town of Plain, 20 min from Leavenworth & 30 min to Stevens Pass Ski Resort - this family friendly cabin has it all!

The space
This cabin has been a labor of love for us as we have been carefully enhancing it with modern day finishes / creature comforts - without taking away from the warmth, coziness, and charm of a traditional log cabin.

Loads of parking in front of the cabin including a covered carport area that is super convenient when it snows. Roast s'mores around the fire pit or enjoy the fall colors from the comfort of the rocking chairs on the front porch.

The mudroom / entry area has plenty of room to store all your gear - we provide snow shoes and hiking poles. The entryway leads to a great room which has an oversized dining table, a 65" LG OLED TV preconfigured with all the major streaming services + YouTube TV, a Sonos Arc audio system, a coffee table chest chock full of playing cards/board games/puzzles, a cozy gas fireplace and a 360 degree swivel couch! The attached half bath has a washer + dryer.

The fully stocked galley kitchen has a gas range, a Nespresso + Aerocinno, a Vitamix, and new Bosch appliances.

The home has two master bedrooms each with their own full size bathroom, and a third bedroom with a darling loft your kids will love.

Master bedroom 1 has a Crate & Barrel king sized bed with a hybrid coil mattress while the Master bedroom 2 has a king size Thuma bed with a Helix Twilight coil mattress. The third bedroom has 2 twin size beds, a desk, and a ladder to access the loft.

The back porch has a cabinet with outdoor games, a Weber BBQ grill, a hot tub, a Yellow Leaf hammock and plenty of seating.

All of this is powered by a Gigabit Internet connection, Ubiquiti Wifi6, a heat pump for heating+cooling with backup electric heat.

Guest access
You'll have the entire cabin to yourself with the exception of the shed in front of the cabin which we use for seasonal storage.

We left no stone unturned in our search for a second home and landed on the west side of Whidbey Island as the perfect destination to escape the hustle and bustle of city life with our now teenage sons (Adil & Mikaal) and a Labradoodle (Odie). After realizing we enjoy opening up our home to others and love being hosts, we expanded that concept to include a cabin in the Central Cascades that we use as an adventure base. Wanderlust has taken us to over 25 countries and 5 continents. All of this travel has allowed us to stay in hundreds of hotels and B&B’s and we have drawn inspiration from all of them for our own AirBnB properties.
