  • Jay is very nice and welcoming. She makes herself available and the house is very conveniently located.

If you suffer from allergies be forewarned that this room and the hallway has carpeting. I slept with my window open and had no problems.

  • Jay was a great host and she greeted me warmly when I came in. The apartment is very well located in the cit,y in a safe neighborhood. The room is small but contains everything you need, and anyway you spend the day visiting the city ... Easy access to the kitchen and bathroom.
Good experience and I really recommend her place.

  • I really enjoyed my time at Jay's place. She was a wonderful host - always ready to provide handy hints about San Francisco. Jay is a very interesting lady. The house is at a fantastic location - within walking distance to the major sites but at the sam time, it was away from the usual city centre humdrum. The neighbourhood is worth exploring in itself. Will definitely stay with Jay again when in SF next time.

  • Te room was great to spend a short period in SFO. The best thing of this house is the situation in the city. It has a bus stop 200m from the house and also you can go down and enjoy Chinatown or financial district on foot. Jay is also very nice and she is totally avaiable to any question that you want to ask.

  • Jay provided everything I needed for a great stay in SF - clean room, linens and shared space, comfortable bed, well-appointed kitchen and a warm demeanor. Rate is incredible for the neighbourhood. Hopefully I can stay here next time!

  • jay was very nice and accommodating. The location was great- close to a lot of things. It was also felt very safe.

However, the house is well worn. The overhead light in my room didn't work and other lights were out as well. The bed is a mattress and box spring right on the floor. When I was there, there were a total of 6 people staying there with 1.5 bathrooms. And although it was tidy, it didn't feel clean- the wall to wall carpeting doesn't help that.

The price though, for this area and the accommodation is more than fair.

  • Jay is a friendly lady who welcomed me warmly when I arrived. She gave me brief introduction of the facilities in the house and then I started off exploration of the city.
The house is on a high rising ridge with a steep slope outdoor. It is indeed quite a common scene in SF. Walking up and down the hill is at first painful but finally I got used to it. Staying in Jay's house gives me a real feeling of SF resident. The house is a bit old but is comfortable to stay in. The room is big enough for one-person stay. The bed is very soft. The house is quiet most of the time giving me good sleep every night. I used the kitchen to make breakfast and dinners. Thanks Jay sharing her coffee. Last but not least to mention is the high speed 3-access point wifi in the house is impressive and critical to keep me survive.
