Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.

Two story home built in the late 1800's, The Kosse Heritage Society owns and operates it. We are not the Hilton. We are a non profit organization. Inside this home is historical relics and photos of Kosse. Step back in time, its like going to Grandma's house. Roomy, a minute walk to restaurants, and other shops. Its decor is old fashion, nothing fancy, we do have internet , window units/heat, gas heaters too. Clawfoot tub/shower. Old furniture but functional. Wallpaper not perfect. Not shared.

The space
Old wood floors, window ac/heat, some gas heaters. Claw foot tub, one king bed, two twin beds, and a full bed. Dining room for six, parlor with couches, full kitchen, hallway museum, front porch, big backyard. Two story home, the Kosse Heritage office and sitting library are upstairs. This is not a elegant home.
Barber and Beauty shop is in the backyard direction (in old servants quarters) they park on the North side.
This home is not shared with anyone, but you will need to park on South side of house.

Guest access
You may rent by the room or the whole house. However; if you have children over the age of five you will need to rent a room for them as well. It is two adults per room. Unless again, they are under the age of 5. Whatever bedrooms you don't select will be locked off. Handicap ramp is present, bathroom is not ADA. Nice neighborhood, near highway. Walking distance to food and shops.

During your stay
This space is not shared. Rooms are blocked if only one room is needed. The host most likely will never see you nor you them. Unless needed.

Other things to note
This is a 100 year old plus home. Lots of space, character and great place to stay for those interested in Kosse History. Lots of photos and old newspapers to view. We are a work in progress and far from perfect. This is not the Hilton. If your looking for perfect wallpaper, manicured floors you can eat off of, flawless décor well please look elsewhere. We do clean well after and before each guest. The smells of a old home and Lysol may not be for all. Full of character and characters! Come see for yourself!
