Other Things to Note
I don't charge for cleaning fees but I ask travelers to clean the place when they leave :-)
Just let the place as clean as you found it !
For the checking in, a copy of your passport will be asked.
Beautiful location. Very easy check in and out. Laure was very helpful. The studio was exactly as it looks in the pics. The velib bikes in the corner were great.
I have sorry and surprised you didn't felt good with the cleanliness of the place.
The sheets and the towels - 2 bath towels + 1 hand towel - just went out from the washing mashing before I gave it to you. And I am surprised you found them dirty. Moreover 2 hours of cleaning had been done in the apartment before your arrival. And the right color of the pillowcase I gave you is yellow and not white, to go with the fitted sheet.
I can understand you were disappointed I didn't have an hair dryer in the apartment, but I couldn't brought one for you in the middle of the evening,
I want to do a lot for my guests, and it is a real pleasure for me to welcome foreigners visitors. But I have to admit I can't work like in a hostel. I can't come immediatly when you give me a call, not because I don't want but simply because I am not living in the same building when you are in.
Sorry for this miss understanding. And I will be more careful with the towels the next time.
Laure fue muy atenta y el departamento fue perfecto, así como el barrio. Altamente recomendable!
Apartment Laura was very bright and cozy. Vney had everything we needed for our comfortable living) It is located on a quiet street, but very close to the main Sightseeings.
I stayed in apartment on Rue des Archives for a month, it is a really special little place! Very compact but every inch of the place is thoughtfully organized and well equipped. The location of the apartment is amazing - I walked all over Paris during my stay but I quickly felt that Le Marais was home. Le Marais is trendy, but also down to earth. It was wonderful to enjoy so many elements of Parisian life during my month long sojourn here: the restaurants, the food markets just a short walk away, and the museums and galleries that begin almost on the doorstep of the apartment! The contemporary fit-out of the apartment is really well done. There are some lovely details like a stone flooring in the shower which gave my feet a nice little massage every time I had a shower. On a clear day light absolutely floods into the place through the big window - the view out the window of a cluster of beautiful buildings is stunning, too.
Laure is a wonderful host, really wonderful. She was so responsive to any questions I had during my stay, she gave me some great recommendations of local cuisine (restaurants and markets), and made me feel very welcome upon arrival. I look forward to staying in this apartment again on any future travels back to Paris!
The apartment is great--just as it looks in the pictures! Loved the location for walking everywhere (never used the metro at all!) and also loved that there was a bakery right downstairs for fresh bread and pastries in the morning. Laure was great with communication before and during our stay and checking in and out was a breeze. Though it is a small space, everything is laid out very efficiently and it is comfortable for two people. Only problem we had was the shower running out of hot water, but otherwise everything was great!
Laure was great! My boyfriend and I stayed in her flat for 4 days. It is just as it appears in the photos. Laure was very flexible and accommodating with check in and check out times. Great location. Fast internet. Nice shower. Clean. Overall a lovely flat.
