The Cave-logde guesthouse is located at Acusa Seca, a unique cave-dwelling pre-hispanic settlement in the heart of Risco Caido and the sacred mountains of Gran Canaria which were recently awarded World Heritage by UNESCO. The sacred area, the sites of archaeo-astronomical interest and the Gran Canaria Biosphere Reserve zoning. The entire area is located within a biosphere reserve that enjoys both cultural and environmental protection.
The natural surroundings have incredibles landscapes.

The space
From the lodge you can access footpaths which can take you on amazing walks through the different Risco Caido sites. This is a place that brings together, in perfect harmony, exceptional cultural values and natural surroundings with an incredibly rich abundance of landscapes, flora and fauna.
From the private terrace you can enjoy spectaculars uninterrupted views of the “sacred” Roque Nublo and the Bentayga rock formations.

The lodge sleeps 4 people.
The cave itself enjoys all the usual comforts and commodities including a fully equipped kitchen complete with all the necessary cooking utensils, a spacious bathroom with walk in shower and electric heater and a bedroom with twin beds, a closet and dedicated door access to the courtyard. In the living area there is a sofa bed where two more guests can sleep. The outside area has a built in barbeque and a porch where you can sit and enjoy the views.
Due to the enhanced thermal storage performance of the construction the cave temperature is constant throughout the year, thus not requiring any air conditioning nor heating as the feeling of comfort is always well balanced (winter temp, outside: 18ºC; inside: 20ºC).

It is worth noting that this is a remote settlement and as such you will find no shops within, all the consumables must be brought in, the closest supermarket is located in that nearby village of Artenara which is a 15 minute car drive away.

It is reduced community and though you will experience the feeling of being alone there are other dwellers just like you that will be enjoying the remarkable feeling and spectacle of the un spoilt and unique beauty of the surroundings both day and night.
Once you come visit you´ll understand why.

We cater to a wide range of guests from budget backpackers to travelers seeking some of the best experiences the island has to offer.

I'm from Canary Islands, half from Gran Canaria, half from Lanzarote. We have a little family of 3 kids. I have lived in France. A beautiful country! I enjoy travelling a lot, I like to swim (beach or swimming-pool) and meet new people. Its a plaisure to share our cave-house and make discover the marveleus site.
