Guests highlight the backyard stargazing, the well-stocked kitchen, and Andy's responsiveness
My cozy desert getaway is a unique blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces to help you shake off your city stress. The open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace create a spacious atmosphere that's perfect for entertaining or just relaxing. The house comes with a multitude of musical instruments to play and it's a quick 15-minute drive to the west entrance of the national park. Enjoy incredible views, stargazing, and a great selection of board games and classic vinyl.

The space
The house sits on over two acres of land, offering beautiful views of Copper Mountain and incredible stargazing, and it's just a ten-minute drive from the Joshua Tree town center, the stunning "Transmission" sculpture by Daniel Popper and the Noah Purifoy art installation. After a day of exploring the wonders of the area, you can come back to the house and relax by a fire in the backyard, swaying in one of the hammocks while listening to your favorites of the 200+ classic albums in my vinyl collection through the house's built-in sound system.

Explore your creative side and play any of the musical instruments in the house, including six- and twelve-string guitars, bass, cajon, kalimba and an electric cigar box ukulele. You can also plug microphones into the multi-input amplifier and put on your own desert karaoke night. If you're feeling competitive, the house includes a collection of my favorite board games. Or if you just want to recharge, you can relish in the silence of the country and take advantage of new memory foam mattresses and blackout blinds in every room to enjoy some deep desert slumber. With its incredible views, spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces, and plenty of entertainment options, this house has everything you need for an unforgettable getaway.
