Other things to note
We are a small farm, raising sustainable grass fed heritage lamb - the meat is delicious and available for purchase too, just ask! We live on-site in a small farm house. The Tiny House is set privately away from our main house. You may see us out on the farm with our corgis or taking care of chores - don't hesitate to say hi! I'm always happy to share about the farm and animals.
Please keep in mind this is a working farm with live animals. We have sheep that baa, cows that moo, chickens that cluck, ducks that quack, and livestock guarding dogs that bark - including at night when predators are more active.
Usually animals are peacefully grazing or napping, but there will be times when you hear our animals or other wild animals while staying on the farm. The farm is uniquely peaceful and relaxing in its own way, but we cannot guarantee a completely quiet setting 100% of the time.
Our farm dogs, Roo and Tucker, let us know when people arrive on the property - feel free to say hi back to them! They are big white fluffy Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherds. They are friendly with people and watch over our sheep in fenced pastures. You may also see our farm cat Boris, or our corgis Wallie, Willow and Russet, when they're outside with us on the farm.
We definitely love all animals, however our large farm/livestock guarding dogs take their job seriously towards unfamiliar animals that show up on the farm. We also have free ranging chickens and ducks that many dogs find to be irresistible “toys”. For these reasons - the safety of our animals and yours - we are unable to allow animals to join you during your stay.
