Exceptional check-in experience

You'll love this solar powered unique and romantic escape in famous Finger Lakes Wine Country. Nestled alongside one of the oldest wineries in America,
O-Neh-Da Vineyard, you are guaranteed to have a delicious stay. The site is located on a dark sky hillside and is perfect for stargazing by the camp fire with your sweetie.
Bring your romantic notions as we provide nearly everything else!

The space
A private driveway leads you to the three separate buildings all included in this site.
The first building is the kitchen with covered deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the things to make your culinary delights.
Gas grill & burner
Hot water boiler & French press for coffee
Yeti cooler
5 gallons of drinking water
Cooking utensils, plates, bowls, mixing bowls, knives & cutting board, silver ware, cups, wine glasses, champagne flutes and more.

The second building is the sleeping cabin. It has multiple windows and doors to let a cooling breeze into the space. Inside you will find a Queen size Tuft and Needle bed, with comfortable sheets and snuggly blankets. For chilly nights a space heater is provided.

Last but not least is the shower and bathroom building. Made of cedar and built for two, the hot on demand outdoor shower is a perfect way to begin or end your day of adventuring in and around the property and Finger Lakes region.
**When staying with us for two (2) or more nights fluffy blankets, pillows, comfortable sheets, towels, and more are provided.
Please note that when staying with us for only one (1) night blankets etc. are not included. **

Guest access
While staying at any of our sites you get access to our swimming pond, private trail to Hemlock Lake and full private use of the site you book.

Our winery, O-Neh-Da and Eagle Crest Vineyards, (right next door) can be available for private tastings and tours for your group while you are here.

We are surrounded by 6,684 acres of protected forever-wild state preserve forest. There are many hiking trails (private and public) around Hemlock Lake.

While you are here you get access to trails all over our 26 acre property, including our private switchback hiking trail down to Hemlock Lake.

Hemlock Lake is a protected water shed which supplies the best water to O-Neh-Da Vineyard and the city of Rochester and is surrounded by a beautiful old growth forest.
Hemlock Lake is a protected watershed no swimming is allowed in the lake.
Because swimming in the lake is prohibited we have a large beautiful swimming pond that you can swim in.

Be sure to inquire about on site trail locations, floats for the pond, kayak rentals for Hemlock and Canadice Lakes and more at check in.

Other things to note
Things to consider packing / bringing with you:

✨Bathrobe and easy slip on shoes for walking to the bathhouse at night.
✨Favorite flashlight. Even though there are two small battery operated lanterns provided at the site, it’s always good to have a back up light.
✨Drinks. 5 gallons of fresh drinking water is provided but personally I enjoy lots of different kinds of beverages while glamor- camping so bringing a good selection is suggested. You can also of course contact us to pick up some wine and beer from the winery during your stay!
✨Food.
✨ Rain jacket, just in case.
✨Sun block & bug spray
✨hiking shoes

A note about Hemlock Lake:
Hemlock Lake and its surrounding forest is a protected forever-wild State Preserve. It is up to all of us to be kind to the land and only leave footprints, taking only memories and pictures home with you.
There is a Bald Eagle nest along the trail as you get closer to the lake. If you see the Eagles in their nest please be respectful and do not approach the nest. Please Do not make loud noises and disturb the Eagles.
Please be sure to carry in and carry out. If you take things on a hike be sure to bring them back with you.
Together we can be good stewards of this land and keep it clean.
