Fifteen square meters that will carry you off into a different world. Book your stay in a tiny house!

Our "Tiny Daisy" was sustainably built on a 6m car trailer, using wood as our main resource. She weighs just 2,7 tons, but has a mighty lot to offer, in the small – even the tiniest – of ways.

Her haven is in the pastoral Münsterland, on the campsite "Brockmühle" on the edge of Maria Veen. Visit Daisy here to test life in a tiny house and to simply enjoy this small space of happiness.

The space
Daisy was originally designed to function as a mobile office and place for consulting, which is mirrored in her room division: across the small kitchen is a toilet and shower, the heart of the house is her small, but homey living room, from which large French doors lead onto the deck. The day bed can be converted into a small sofa or a small bed which can also be extended into a 1,60er double bed, if need be.

There are no stairs or platforms inside of Daisy, what awaits you are high ceilings and a unique atmosphere. A small coffee corner will provide you with everything you need to procure a perfect breakfast to start your day. The fridge has enough space for food, which you can cook using the grill that patiently awaits its use in the green garden just outside your doors.

Being mindful of our use of the earth’s resources was an important aspect for us while designing Daisy. She presents an option of living that shows just how comfortable living while simultaneously preserving water can be. The dry separating toilet works without wasting any water at all. Only fluids are directed into the greywater, solid matters are collected and disposed of separately. Perhaps you have previously pondered how the smell holds up in a contained room, perhaps you cannot quite believe that no smell permeates the air? Here you can find out for yourself.
The decision to build the shower was made during the active building process, which means it is a small space at just 70 x 70 cm² that can however still offer you the comfort of privacy. The shower head disperses the water into a fine mist, which not only provides a unique wellness-feeling, but also preserves water.
If all of this sounds a little bit too unconventional for your tastes, the campsite offers a stationary sanitary house, which you may use, that provides you with typical water toilets and spacious shower cabins.

Daisy’s big double French doors open unto the terrace where a small sitting corner gives you the option to enjoy your meals directly in nature if you feel like it. The smaller door leads onto a small, roofed veranda. The garden provides further sitting areas and a lawn area which may entice you to listen to the humming of the bees, breathe in the flowery air and to enjoy long, sunny afternoons.

The Brockmühle campsite is a great place for horse lovers and offers individual riding lessons for young and old as well as group rides.
In the north, the area borders on the wild horse track "Meerfelder Bruch", where 300 to 400 wild horses still live in a large herd. These can be visited on the weekends.

The center of the small village of Maria Veen is a fifteen minute walk from the camping grounds. Among other things, there is a bakery, a supermarket and a grandiose ice cream parlor, which is definitely worth a walk.

In 2015, I read an article from a mobile tiny house for the first time. I was away and it's still today. A tiny cottage, ecologically built, which I can plan and set up according to my needs, which allows me to maintain a sustainable way of living while staying free and without ballast - yes!
The idea of planning a tiny house to "build a tiny house" was basically a natural step, but it took a few years.
Daisy and I originally planned as a mobile office, built it with our hands and decorated with love.
Meanwhile, we are building the next tiny house. And you can, too. We believe tiny houses will conquer the world, part of it. To share our passion for the tiny houses and nature life, we would like to share Daisy with you. And if you plan or dream of building a tiny house yourself, speak to us! We would love to talk to you about your project during your stay in Münsterland.

During your stay

For your initial arrival we will discuss an in-person key-exchange and a short introduction to our tiny house. Living in such a small space does have its quirks and specialties, which are good to be aware of.
