The space
Stay at our family-owned winery estate, where you’ll not only enjoy a spacious 4-bed, 3.5-bath home but also have the rare opportunity to taste award-winning wines with the winemaker and tour the vineyard and winery.
From nearly every room, take in breathtaking sunset views over the working vineyard. Gather on the patio with a glass of wine, fire up the gas grill for a BBQ, or prepare gourmet meals in the chef’s kitchen complete with three ovens. There is no need to share when three bedrooms have private baths. The upstairs bedrooms even have private balconies overlooking the vineyard. The primary bedroom is downstairs with a large jetted tub and walk-in shower with two shower heads.

Here at Fraser Family Vineyards, wine country isn’t just something you visit—it’s something you live. Guests are invited to:

- Reserve private tastings of our small-lot, estate-grown wines
- Walk the vineyard and winery with the winemaker as your guide
- Discover the authentic local side of Amador County wine country

And of course, location, location, location—you’ll be right on the main road through Shenandoah Valley, with dozens of wineries within a 5-mile radius. The Fair Play and Somerset regions are just a 15-minute drive away, making this the perfect hub for your wine country adventures.

Come for the wine, stay for the memories.

Guest access
During your stay, you'll have access to the entire home. The only exception is the garage. Also, the vineyard, pond, and outdoor wood-fired oven are off-limits for your safety.

Other things to note
We do not allow parties or guests over the number stated on the reservation. However, we will consider separate requests for small weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc., for an additional fee. Pets are an additional $100 per stay payable via Venmo after booking.

Neighborhood highlights

Plymouth (formerly Pokerville) began as a mining camp in the Shenandoah Valley more than 150 years ago by quartz miner Green Aden and associates. Established as a town in 1871, Plymouth boasts many mining-era structures, on and around its historic Main Street, like the Empire Store and the Methodist Episcopal Church.

To drive up California Highway 16 is to experience the Sierra Foothills in its full glory. Beautiful rolling hills are interspersed with pines and oak trees - bringing people to a historical time and place. Serenity and calm await the guests as they make their way off the main stretch of Amador County Wineries and find themselves at Fraser Family Vineyards.

The Sierra Foothills AVA with elevations around 1400 feet provides just the right terroir to create high-quality Italian and Rhone-style wines.

At 4.25 acres, our vineyard is known throughout the area for its high-quality Barbara and Zinfandel fruit. The location provides a unique combination of warmer days and cool nights to produce the ripe fruit flavors balanced by the acidity needed for balanced and elegant wines. In addition, the soils are sandy decomposed granite and make our location very unique.
