The space
Nestled in the quaint village of Catskill, this historic home offers a unique opportunity to experience the town's rich heritage. Extensively renovated to provide modern conveniences and comfort, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of outdoor adventures or exploring the local area.
Immediately when you come through the front door, you will be greeted with soothing white colors, large open spaces, dark wood floors, soft lights, and modern textiles.
The kitchen comes equipped with appliances and a gas stove so that you can enjoy a home-cooked meal. The dining area has a large table to seat up to eight guests. It’s the perfect space if you want a communal breakfast before a day of adventures or a place for unwinding over a shared meal at the end of the day.
After dinner, you can walk across the hallway to the bright and airy living room. Enjoy after-dinner cocktails while watching TV or playing with some of our board games. Directly off the living room is the office, where you can close the door and be productive with access to our complimentary Wi-Fi.
When you’re ready to call it quits for the day, head upstairs to one of our four lovely bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 registered guests. One bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom, and there is an additional one full and one half-bath available for other guests.
If you want to enjoy the natural beauty of the Catskills, The White House offers the ultimate in indoor/outdoor living. The screened French doors open from either the kitchen or living room onto a outdoor deck. There you will find another large dining table and barbeque for meals outdoors. We also have a chimenea to enjoy on cold nights.
Guest access
You’ll have the entire house, outdoor deck, and backyard to yourself—a private oasis just steps from the quaint village of Catskill. Enjoy full access to all the amenities, including the washer and dryer, chimenea, BBQ, and private off-street parking.
Please note: During heavy snow or icy conditions in winter, we may close the driveway for safety reasons. In that case, ample on-street parking is available right in front of the house.
