Take a break and unwind in the beautiful Smokey Mountains in southern Kentucky. We are situated less than 5 miles from the famous Cumberland Falls! We are close to many hiking trails and water sports. This one bedroom, one bathroom cabin boasts a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The deck provides a peaceful view of the beautiful forest as well as a great place to relax and grill your favorite meal! An air mattress is provided for additional guests.

The space
The darling little one bedroom cabin is very secluded and surrounded by woods. There are rustic sandstone steps to take you from the parking area up to the cabin. The cabin has a deck with two chairs, a side table, and a propane grill. A fire pit sits off the deck if you want to enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a real flame or for roasting marshmallows.

Guest access
You can have your run of the surrounding woods. You will enjoy the beautiful rock cliffs that are on the property, as well. We have a small hobby farm, so come up to feed and pet the horses, goats, and chickens! We also have a very playful lab mix, Annie, who loves to play fetch!

Other things to note
We have rough sandstone steps up to the cabin. There is a handrail, but just note this if you have difficulty with stairs.

Only 2 pets allowed.

We designed this cabin for interaction with family and with nature, so there is no television. We do have very fast WiFi. You can connect your own device if needed.

We have one other cabin on our property. It is located about 100 feet from the Bear’s Den. Undergrowth keeps the cabins pretty secluded from each other, so privacy shouldn’t be an issue.

We have lived in this beautiful state of Kentucky since 2017. We bought about 55 acres of woods, pasture, and creek line and started developing it into a little hobby farm for us and our family. In 2021, we decided that we wanted to share what we have with others. We built two cabins on our property and have plans for at least two more.
