The space
Amazing pool home near the beach! This open layout beach house is made for making memories and relaxing beach getaways! The living room boasts a spacious vaulted ceiling and comfy sofas. The fenced back yard is private and there is a cozy screened in back porch to relax and enjoy your evenings. The pool, covered pergola and fireplace are newly built and fabulous!
The living room has a large flatscreen TV with cable and WiFi. The beautifully updated spacious eat-in kitchen is perfect for whipping up a small snack or a chefs meal alike!
The beach is just a three short blocks away and there is parking by the beach or in Windswept park which is just across the street from the beach. Driving on our beach is also allowed, which can be great for families with kids.

Crescent Beach awaits you and your loved ones with this charming house mere blocks from the beach. This home also lies just a short distance to shopping, ice cream, restaurants, seafood, souvenirs, and rental shops that line the road to the north. Anastasia State Park, to the north, offers an array of hiking trails. Within a ten minute drive or less you can visit the Alligator Farm, The Lighthouse, and the Historic District of St. Augustine is just 10 minute drive away. Visit our lovely downtown shops and galleries, museums, and more!

You can adjust the thermostat within a preset range. The a/c does not go below 71 degrees F.
Pets: Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee of $199. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some.
We provide 12 bath towels, 6 beach towels, 5 hand towels, 5 washcloths, 1 bath mat (per bathroom), and 2 kitchen towels for our guests. The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup. Please read the house rules.
Important info about pool heating and fees: Both the spa and the pool will be at the same temperature if you choose to heat the pool because they share the same plumbing and heater. Most people prefer a heated spa in colder temperatures to a heated pool because the spa is set to 101 degrees and the pool heater would be set to 85 degrees. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 58 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated. The heating of the spa is included with your stay. If you want to heat the entire pool we have an additional heating fee of $199 plus $25 per night to maintain the temperature. If you arrive at the house and change your mind about the pool heating, the initial heating fee of $199 will not be refunded.
Our pool technician comes on Tuesdays to check the chemicals and Fridays to clean. Our lawn/landscape professional comes on Wednesdays. These dates are subject to change based on weather or other factors, but in general that is when they are scheduled.
Other things to note
The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins!
The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!
