The space
This spacious 3 bed/2 bath sleeps 8 adults + a few kids. There are 2 levels to the house that are accessible and available to all guests.

Guest access
The entire home is available to you except the basement. No one lives there but it has a separate entrance and is not setup to offer the top notch 5-star experience like the rest of the house.
There are 2 separate areas to park. Multiple cars and motorcycles can fit comfortably, as well as trailers.
You do NOT need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to the house or to park in the driveways.

THE TOWN
Franklin, North Carolina is famous for hiking, fishing, driving and beautiful mountain scenery year round. It offers country mountain roads, abundant fishing, gem mining and a small town feel with amenities galore.
The "downtown" part of Franklin has supermarkets, shops, cafes, breweries, arcade, movie theater, and more. Creekside Basecamp is just 13 minutes away from town and situated on a paved mountain road (NC scenic byway) surrounded by nothing but trees and water so you'll be fully immersed in nature.

We are near Highlands (45 minutes), Cashiers (55 minutes), Bryson City (55 minutes), Asheville (90 minutes), Hayesville & Lake Chatuge (35 minutes), the Blue Ridge Parkway, Nantahala Lake (20 minutes), Cherokee Harrah's Casino (50 minutes), Great Smoky Mountain National Park (1 hour) and downtown Franklin (13 minutes). The Nantahala region is located in the Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge mountains. The home is just minutes away from the Appalachian Trail, Bartram Trail and many other hikes and activities.
AIRPORTS
Asheville AVL airport is 90 minutes away and Atlanta ATL ariport is 2.5 hours away. If you happen to be a pilot, Franklin has its own Macon County Airport 25 minutes away.

The location is perfect for nature lovers, hikers, fishermen, explorers, adventurers, driving enthusiasts, motorcycle riders and those that enjoy peaceful time surrounded by greenery and strong-flowing water. Dip your toes in the creek or join the club and do a full plunge dip - it's very refreshing and invigorating.
Sonos speakers placed throughout the house are connected to an iPad so you can stream music. Stream TV or we have hundreds of DVDs and board games to choose from.
We do have Starlink, but please keep in mind that the internet in the mountains may be slower than what you're used to.

This is not a typical cabin in the woods. It's clean. It's fresh. It's recently renovated and nicely furnished. It's close to town (10-15 minutes) and feels very private. Hike directly across the street from the property or drive a couple minutes up the road to see beautiful waterfalls and trails (details included in the guidebook).
