Retreat to the beautiful and serene Ozarks in this rustic, farm-style cabin. Located on our fully operational Arkansas Century Farm (established in 1918), this cabin is the perfect resting place for you and your friends or family during your Ozark Mountain adventures. While the finishes and decor emphasize the connection to our 1918 roots, this cabin provides the creature comforts you’ll crave after a long day exploring the beautiful Buffalo National River and all of nature’s sights and sounds.

The space
Our space features:

•1 bedroom with a queen bed (sleeps 2), closet, and mini-split unit to keep you at the perfect temperature
•1 full bathroom with a shower and free standing tub
•an open concept kitchen and living room area where the TV, pull-out sleeper couch (sleeps 2), 1 floor lamp, coffee bar, dining table, stove, refrigerator, microwave, sink, and another closet are located.

•The washing machine and dryer are both located in a private nook inside the bathroom.
•The back door leads to a small landing with the charcoal grill just down the steps situated neatly next to the fire pit and deck area.
•The front yard is lined with 3 grand oak trees and is large with plenty of room for parking; a short rock path leads you and your luggage from your vehicle up the porch steps to the front door.
•A rope swing is attached to the oak tree closest to the cabin.
•A free-standing hammock is tucked into the far corner of the backyard ready for all your rest and relaxation needs.
•The backyard is smaller and offers a cozier feel for gathering around the fire pit under the stars.

Guest access
You will have the entire cabin all to yourself as well as the fenced in front and back yards.

🐶🐱 Being animal lovers ourselves, we welcome you to bring your furry friends with you on your trip. There is an additional pet fee for this space, and we encourage you to review our rules for pets when booking. Let us know if any pets will be accompanying you on your trip so we can get you set up for your stay!

—CONNECTIVITY—
📱 While cell phone reception and coverage are both good in this area, there is no cable or wireless internet connection in this space—the Rustic Roots cabin offers a chance for guests to unwind, unplug, and enjoy the peaceful serenity of nature. We recommend bringing a hotspot with you on your trip if you need to stay connected for work. Streaming services such as Netflix and Disney+ are available on the Roku television through the personal hotspot connection setting on your smartphone.

—BUFFALO NATIONAL RIVER—
🛶 The Rustic Roots cabin is in an ideal location if you’re looking for quick access to the Buffalo National River! Tyler Bend is about 5 miles from this space, and Grinder’s Ferry is only about 3.5 miles. Local favorite spots like Shine Eye and Gilbert are also very close to Rustic Roots. For cyclists, the Ozark Grinder Trail has access points very close to this space.

—ALCOHOL—
🍻 Searcy County is a ~dry~ county; if you want to purchase alcohol, you’ll have to travel about 25 minutes north to reach a basic liquor store. ***NOTE: There are 3 local restaurants offering a selection of alcohol (Big Springs Trading Company in St. Joe, Skylark Cafe in Leslie, and Los Locos in Marshall).

—KIDS—
👶 We love hosting you and your families on your vacation! This space is quite small and ideally suited for older children. Families with toddlers and babies may find more comfort in a larger space with amenities for smaller kiddos.
