Enjoy your stay in your very own farmhouse. Nestled in rolling hills, with views of the flowing creek and fields. Just 6 miles East of Hillsboro, IL & 45 minutes from Springfield, IL Enjoy hiking, fishing, golf, boating and relaxing on the porch.
The farmhouse has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and comfortable sofa sleeper (double) in the living room. There is also a bed/futon in the summer kitchen (separate structure, no bathroom). Best used in cooler weather, no A/C. It is more of a man cave

The space
We are a unique farmhouse, situated on 236 acres of complete privacy You have the use of your own farmhouse. Situated in the country within 6 miles of Hillsboro IL Plenty of restaurants, shops, and museums close by.

Guest access
You will have access to hiking trails, fishing, Springfield IL Lincoln museums and sites. Small town museums, unique dining restaurants, movie theaters and wineries. There are several lakes for fishing with your boat close by.

Other things to note
On occasion we do allow pets, if they are kenneled .
The farmhouses are on a septic system and we do not have a garbage disposal, or dishwasher. During the Covid-19 crisis we require each guest to PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS.

Our neighbors are too far to see, but close enough to help out if needed. The stars are so bright in the country, and deer, turkey and pheasants are always seen.

My name is John and I have enjoyed growing up and living on a farm in Illinois. I have owned and farmed my 236 acres since 1976. When my wife and I acquired more aces with another farmhouse, we decided 7 years ago to make one of the houses a BnB. We are proud of Pheasant Valley Farms and all that it has to offer. I enjoy being with people and showing them the farms and what they have to offer. I will hike with you, fish with you, show you the local wineries, or just leave you to yourselves to enjoy a quiet relaxing day. I am here to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
