The design of the Dry Brook Cabin is inspired by Scandinavian simplicity and functionality. Our aim was to create a space that offers the comfort of modern living while encouraging you to connect with the surrounding landscape. The calming sound of Dry Brook will help you escape the stresses of everyday life, and nature will gently remind you of where we truly belong. We hope you enjoy your stay here as much as we do.

The space
The house is a newly built property, finished in the spring of 2020, and still carries the fresh scent of pinewood. Designed by us and constructed by local contractors, it offers ample privacy for your comfort.

On the main floor, you'll find a spacious living room with cathedral ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, sofa, and coffee table. The wide sliding patio door gives access to the backyard deck. There’s one bedroom on the main floor, and another in the loft, accessible via a ladder.

Guest access
Guests can use the washer and dryer located in the basement, which is accessible from the outside. For environmental reasons, the trash bins are also stored in the basement. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need the access code.

Other things to note
The nearby town has everything you need, from groceries and pharmacies to galleries, restaurants, and charming artisan shops. Plus, the Western Catskills offer miles of hiking trails, skiing resorts (Belleayre is just under 15 minutes away, and Plattekill is about 25 minutes), crystal-clear lakes, forests, and meadows. Whether you’re into fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, road or mountain biking, or hiking, Delaware County has it all. Enjoy the wildlife and be captivated by the stunning views.
