Come unwind in our one-of-a-kind Treehouse getaway just minutes from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater and Ohiopyle! Located more than 1/4 Mile off the county road, you will only hear the birds chirping as you sit on the covered patios taking in the beauty of the surrounding hardwoods and ferns. Enjoy a morning hike on our mile long private hiking trail that will take you across a clear mountain stream, into the canopies of the mountain laurels and through a rock boulder field. Sorry NO PETS.

The space
Relax in the nearly 900sq feet of air-conditioned/heated living space which includes 2 bedrooms (on second floor), full bathroom and 3 covered patio spaces to enjoy the mountain air. The treehouse comes with a fully equipped kitchen, including an electric range, Microwave, toaster and Refrigerator/Freezer to allow for culinary skills to be shown off. In addition, there is a propane grill located near the driveway.
Stretch out in the 20ft high vaulted ceiling living room on the two full size leather sofa’s while streaming your favorite Netflix or Youtube show on the flat screen with the provided WiFi. Grab one of the interesting books from the bookshelf and turn on some easy listening music on the Bluetooth and in ceiling speaker system as you turn the pages.
Head outside to the custom hand crafted fire pit to roast your marshmallows or mountain pies, or kick your feet up on the large swing bed located under the treehouse. Take a dip in the hot tub that overlooks the woods!

Other things to note
The road to the treehouse will be gravel. High clearance vehicles recommended but not necessary. In the winter months all wheel or 4 wheel drive recommended. There are no large grocery stores nearby. There is a dollar general, Sunoco and a small market. There are places to buy beer but no liquor stores. Nearest liquor store is about 30 minutes away. The summers get buggy here so you may want to bring some bug spray. You also may encounter wildlife. We ask that you do not leave any food or trash outside.

Both of the bedrooms are located on the Second Floor.

Also firewood is provided for the fire pit.

Loft Beds- due to the slope of the ceiling, one of the single loft beds is not recommended for persons over 5ft tall.

The treehouse is located in a secluded area with no other homes or structures close by. Your neighbors will be the deer and squirrels. You have access to our private hiking trail that meanders along Cucumber Run stream...which is the head water to Cucumber Falls. The trail has several bridge crossings and weaves through the mountain laurels and through a beautiful boulder field. You will be centrally located to all of what makes the Laurel Highlands so magical. Just a 6 minute drive to Ohiopyle State Park (PA’s largest state park), 9 Minutes to Frank Lloyd Writes Kentuck Knob, 19 Minutes to Frank Lloyd Writes Fallingwater, 6 Minutes to Fort Necessity National Battlefield….and so much more.
