The village of Bruchhausen is ideally situated between Sauerlands two main ski resort, Willingen (10minutes) and Winterberg (20minutes, ) and also has his own, family friendly 2 slopes ski resort (Sternrodt). In summer, many possibilities to hike or bike.
The village has a grocery store, a bakery, an ATM and a few cafe/restaurants (e.g. Gutscafe)

Bruchhausen is located between the two large ski resorts in the Sauerland: Willingen (10 minutes ) and Winterberg (20 minutes ) and even has its own family-friendly ski lift (Sternrodt - also with summer toboggan run). In summer, there are numerous opportunities for hiking or cycling, right from the doorstep. The special highlight of the region, the Bruchhauser Steine, is located just above the holiday home. Even hang gliders can practice their sport in Bruchhausen. The village of Bruchhausen has a bakery (also open on Sundays), a small Aunt Emma shop, a cash machine, and a few cafes and restaurants. At the Rosencafe am Gutshof there is also a garden that can be visited (Rosenbogen Heidrich and Blütengarten), as well as a small museum with old agricultural implements and carriages (open on request for groups). The small, local brewery at the estate is currently closed - a new tenant is wanted.
