The space
Perfectly suited for groups of 10 to 23 people. The property sleeps 19 guests in the winter and 23 guests in the summer, with additional extra beds available upon request. You will have exclusive access to a large, private courtyard featuring approximately 300 m² of indoor space and a 130 m² terrace.
There are no other residents or neighboring cabins right next to the property. Located on a peaceful lakeshore, Palvia is shared by permanent residents and summer cottages alike. The venue is ideal for spending quality time together and hosting calm celebrations, but it is not suitable for loud outdoor parties at night.
In addition to the main house, the grounds feature three cabins, a luxury glamping tent, a beach sauna, a smoke sauna, a storage/wood shed, an outdoor toilet, a traditional Lappish hut (kota), and a large BBQ gazebo. Guests have access to 4 indoor toilets/showers, 2 boats, SUP boards, indoor and outdoor games, firewood, and Wi-Fi. Amenities vary by season; all facilities except the safari tent are available year-round. During the summer, an outdoor Mosquito Magnet keeps insects to a minimum.
You can enjoy a variety of free, self-guided activities on-site, including fishing, berry picking, mushroom hunting, swimming, boating, SUP boarding, cross-country skiing, ice swimming, and backyard games. A marked nature trail can be accessed directly from the yard. Flexible check-in and check-out times, as well as day visits without overnight stays, are possible depending on availability. Bed linen and towels can be rented from the property or you can bring your own. Final cleaning is included in the accommodation price.
The large smoke sauna can be booked upon request and is heated by the host, subject to weather conditions. Pets are allowed only by prior permission. The property does not offer in-house dining services. However, breakfast and catering meals can be ordered through our local partner, "Kievari Rantapirtti". Rantapirtti also organizes various experiences and activities at their own location, including canoeing, husky safaris, snowmobile or ATV safaris, rally co-driving, disc golf, and ice karting.
