Located close to hiking trails, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, breweries and wineries as well as Hunter (17 mi), Catskill (26 mi) and Hudson (30 mi), this is the ideal location from which to explore the best of the Catskills.
The space
***In winter, bringing a vehicle with all-wheel drive is not only highly recommended, it is potentially a requirement to make it up our driveway if it is snow-covered. We have a local plow service that grooms and maintains it but only down to about 1/2” of cover as it is a gravel driveway.***

Our chalet offers the perfect balance of privacy and proximity to civilization.
Our Starlink satellite dish provides incredibly fast internet. The vast majority of houses in this area have standard satellite internet which is painfully slow. If you were pondering the idea of working remotely while being surrounded by nature, you've come to the right place.
The chalet was constructed using traditional log home-building techniques which performs well in extreme temperatures. Cross-ventilation and ceiling fans keep the house comfortable most days throughout the year, but central heating and central air conditioning are available whenever you need it via the Nest smart thermostat.
The kitchen features an oversized granite island w/ built-in oven, range and microwave so that whoever is cooking can easily socialize with the rest of the party. It also houses everything you might want to prepare a large meal for your guests including a complete set of cookware by Le Creuset. If there's anything out of the ordinary you think you'll need, feel free to reach out and we'll confirm that we have it or we will try to provide it for you. Please note that there is no dishwasher.
The interiors are furnished with an eclectic mix of contemporary and modern pieces from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Joybird, AllModern, CB2, and West Elm as well as unique vintage and mid-century modern pieces, some of which have been newly refinished or refurbished. All bedroom closets feature shelving by Elfa.
There are a total of three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, plus a queen-size Joybird convertible sofa in the loft to sleep up to eight people.
The master bedroom upstairs is very spacious and features vaulted ceilings, an en suite bathroom, a king bed and a desk for computer work along with ample floor space for doing yoga. It also includes the second television in the house which is a 50” Sony 4K Smart TV connected to an Apple TV with all streaming services available.
The larger bedroom downstairs has a king bed as well, while the smallest bedroom features a queen bed. Both of the downstairs bedrooms are located adjacent to the downstairs bathroom.
The porch wraps three sides of the house and offers ample opportunities to take in the views while conversing with friends and family or just relaxing. The porch is covered on two of the three sides so you can enjoy a beverage or two in total comfort even if the weather becomes uncooperative.
There's a 110V exterior outlet next to the garage door should you need to charge your EV. Feel free to park as close to the garage door as needed to charge your vehicle, but please do not park inside the garage. Note that almost all EV owners have charged without a problem at this location however one guest with a Tesla stated that the outlet cover interfered with his plug, so if you can bring adapters or other plug options that would be a good idea in case you have a similar issue.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and all of the 22 acres of property surrounding the house.
Please note: We do not allow hunting, the use of guns, fireworks or smoking anywhere on the property at any time. The wildlife in the area recognize our property as a sanctuary and are therefore more likely to visit during your stay. Violating any of these rules will result in additional fees.

Please read through all of the rules specific to our property. You are obligated to follow them and will be held accountable for each of the rules you break, whether you read the rules or not, so we strongly recommend you do so prior to booking as many of them have fees associated.
Commercial photography and filming is allowed however you must reach out to us before booking with details about the shoot/production to ensure all of our questions are answered and all of our concerns are met. We will require a deposit, a certificate of insurance, and may impose additional fees depending upon your plans.
