The space
Yurt Venus is the third yurt of this small-scale Yurt Retreat, detached in a vast meadow in the beautiful Achterhoek. Here you will experience peace, space and nature in all its purity. The round shapes of the yurt have a magical effect, an envelopment of warmth and security. As soon as you step inside, you will feel the unique atmosphere: a combination of style, comfort and the serene energy of this special place.
Specially designed for two people, Yurt Venus offers everything you need for a luxurious and comfortable stay. Everything is made of natural, sustainable materials and furnished with an eye for detail. The atmosphere is inviting and warm, with an interior that radiates peace and immediately gives a feeling of home.
Around the yurt is a spacious wooden terrace, partly enclosed with fencing and plants. Here you will also find the private sanitary facilities: an eco-dry toilet that looks like a normal toilet and does not require any hassle with sawdust. In addition, there is a luxurious wooden outdoor shower where showering is a true experience – surrounded by fresh air and with the sky as a ceiling. This is glamping at its best! And what a convenience: we provide you with soft bathrobes, a complete set of towels and a wide range of eco-friendly care products.
The terrace is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the expansive view of the Achterhoek landscape. And that with complete privacy. From the first rays of sunshine at sunrise to the golden glow of the setting sun – every moment of the day is a gift here. The lounge set and dining table make the terrace a place where you can endlessly enjoy the peace and beauty around you. And when night falls, a starry sky unfolds so bright and magical that it feels like you are entering the cosmos. Even from your bed you can see the stars twinkling through the roof dome and admire its radiant presence at full moon.
Every season offers a different experience in Yurt Venus. In the cold months it is wonderful to stay inside by the crackling wood stove. The warmth envelops you as you listen to the sounds of the wind or the rain. As the days get longer, life moves more outdoors and you are even more immersed in nature.
To make your stay as relaxing as possible, we provide everything you need: luxury bed linen, soft towels, kitchen textiles and a range of care products. Even the basics such as toilet paper, candles, coffee, tea, sugar, oil, herbs and spices are provided – all of sustainable and eco-friendly quality.
The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, gas stove and an extensive kitchen inventory, so you can easily prepare a delicious meal.
The modern wood stove provides warmth and atmosphere. Wood and firelighters are included, and a filled wood basket will be ready for you upon arrival. The stove is prepared for easy lighting, and with a clear manual you will learn how to stoke safely and efficiently according to the Swiss method. To complete the authentic experience, you will also chop your own wood – the necessary tools are ready.

Guest access
There are three yurts, they are very far apart, you have complete privacy. Each yurt is for a maximum of two people (adults-only). Yurt and sanitary facilities are entirely for your own use.
Yurt Venus is the third of the three yurts and is located in the farthest corner of the meadow, about 300 meters from the parking lot.
There is a central parking lot at the farm, from there you walk through the meadow to the yurt. Don't worry, there are no cows in the pasture.
There is no paved path. There is a hand cart to transport luggage.
Public transport to this address is limited.
Other things to note
Reservations are only possible for a maximum of two people; the yurt is not suitable for groups, children, or pets.
The yurt is comfortable and luxurious, but it remains a tent: you're staying in the heart of nature and may hear sounds such as birds, wind, and occasionally activities from the surrounding farmland, which follow no fixed schedule.
We always aim to consider our guests' presence. If major work or events are planned that were not known at the time of booking, we will inform you in advance and offer the option to reschedule free of charge.
In case of extreme weather forecasts (such as storms, heavy wind gusts, or prolonged frost), where we cannot guarantee safety or the functioning of key facilities (especially water), we will contact you to discuss a possible free rescheduling.
Cancellations are always at your own expense.
