Tucked away on James Island and very conveniently located between Historic Downtown Charleston (10 minutes away) and Folly Beach (15 minutes away), this hidden gem is nestled on a 5 acre lake, immersed in a vibrant ecosystem! After visiting all of the eclectic charm that Charleston has to offer, head back to Salt of the Island Retreat and reconnect with nature. Enjoy the sunshine and a cold beverage poolside while you heal your soul with the simple things.

The space
Turtles, Egrets, Herons, Pelicans, Mallards and Wood Ducks are just a few visitors that may accompany you while enjoying the lakeside breeze on one of the two decks overlooking the view. Brilliant flowers and natural land scaping add radiant colors to the scene. Rest and revitalize as you watch the little pollinators doing their tedious job composing the back yards floral symphony. And, of course, take a dip in the pool after a fun day of Charleston sightseeing! And don’t forget about a refreshing rinse in the outdoor shower. OP2021-01767
